Château Laniote 2019

Appellation Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

very favorable climatic conditions: This year we will retain a lot of sunshine, very mild temperatures in winter and very hot spells in summer with two heatwaves in August, low rainfall except during the last quarter (after the harvest).

These optimal conditions have resulted in a powerful vintage, with a very deep colour, fruity with concentrated aromas of ink, blackberries, macerated black cherry and blackcurrant with some hints of licorice, pepper and figs. On the palate, the same theme can be found with fullness and substance, an evolution of rich, velvety and clean well-integrated tannins and a mineral and shimmering finish. Alcohol content: 14.2%.

Good ageing potential (2026-2040).
